Healthcare storage in Boise is a Mountain West project, and we are a Mountain West supplier. Labs USA works southwest Idaho from Salt Lake City, along the same corridor our freight already runs, and we do not pretend to have a Boise storefront. The layout, the product selection and the specification happen before anyone travels; delivery and installation are scheduled and quoted as part of the same project. Labs USA is a supplier and project partner, not the manufacturer. We supply Quantum Medical healthcare storage products, help configure them for the room and the workflow, and coordinate delivery and installation.

The Treasure Valley market we plan around

Southwest Idaho is one of the fastest-growing care markets in the region, and growth is exactly what fills a store room.

The publicly known operators here include St. Luke’s Health System, which is headquartered in Boise, Saint Alphonsus Health System (part of Trinity Health), the Boise VA Medical Center, West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, and Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital. Around them are ambulatory surgery centres, orthopaedic and cardiology practices, oncology and infusion clinics, imaging and dialysis centres, public health districts and the rural and critical access hospitals that cover the Snake River Plain out towards Twin Falls, Ontario and McCall.

They are named as public market context only. Nothing on this page says or implies that Labs USA has supplied, installed for or contracted with any of them.

What a growing market does to storage

A facility that adds volume every year runs out of storage before it runs out of anything else. The pattern is predictable: par levels creep up, overflow lands in a corridor or a spare exam room, and somebody buys shelving that fits the budget rather than the room. Six months later the same room is full again.

The way out of that loop is to plan the room for the par levels you will have, not the ones you had. That usually means a shelf mix rather than one shelf type, bins sized so a full bin is still liftable, a decision about what genuinely has to be in the department versus in bulk storage, and a clear answer on whether the room should go high-density now or later.

Layouts and specifications require Labs USA review. Any quantity, footprint, capacity or layout produced during planning is an estimate for discussion. Final layouts and specifications are reviewed by Labs USA, confirmed on the quote and field-verified before installation.

How a Boise project runs

1Send the roomDimensions, ceiling obstructions, door and corridor widths, lift and dock access, and a photo of each wall. A hand sketch is fine.
2Layout and product listYou get a drawing and the published models and sizes before pricing, plus the alternatives we ruled out and why.
3Freight to the Treasure ValleyQuoted as a visible line with the delivery type stated: dock, lift gate, inside delivery or placement in the room.
4Installation coordinatedAssembly, levelling, adjustment to the first real load and a walk-through, scheduled around the hours the room is free.

Products we supply into southwest Idaho

The families below are covered in depth on the hub, with published models, sizes and load figures wherever the manufacturer publishes them. On a Boise project the choice is settled by the room and the workflow: wire where airflow and visibility matter, polymer where the room is cleaned hard, stainless components where the department specifies them, carts where the work moves, and high-density when the floor is gone.

Rural and critical access facilities

Smaller Idaho hospitals and clinics have the opposite problem to a big system: not enough volume to justify a construction project, but the same need for a supply room that works. Those jobs are usually one or two rooms, a short product list and a single delivery, and they are worth doing properly because the room will not be touched again for years.

We quote them the same way, and we will tell you when the cheaper option is the right one. Re-pitching existing shelves and adding bins beats replacing a run that is basically sound.

Boise healthcare storage FAQ

Do you serve Boise from a local branch?
No. Labs USA is based in Salt Lake City and serves southwest Idaho as part of its Mountain West coverage. We would rather be straight about that: the planning work is done remotely from your measurements, and delivery and installation are scheduled and quoted as part of the project.
Which Idaho areas do you cover?
The Treasure Valley first: Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna and Star. We also quote Twin Falls, Mountain Home, McCall and the rural and critical access facilities across southern Idaho, and we will say plainly when freight to a remote site changes the economics of a small order.
Can you install, or is it delivery only?
Installation is coordinated as part of the project: assembly, levelling, adjustment after the first real load and a walk-through with whoever runs the room, scheduled around the hours the space is free.
Our supply room fills up every year. What actually helps?
In order of cost: re-pitch the shelves to the real item heights, move fast movers into clear-front bins so par levels are visible, get single items onto a wall system, and separate department stock from bulk. If the room is still full after that, high-density mobile shelving removes the fixed aisles.
Do you help with new clinics and expansions?
Yes, and the earlier the better. While drawings are still editable, store rooms and clean utility rooms can be sized to the storage that will go in them instead of the other way round.
Do you publish prices?
No. Quotes depend on the room, the product mix, freight and installation, so we quote the project rather than publish list prices. The layout and product list come with the quote at no charge.
Do you make claims about cleanability, materials or standards?
We publish what the manufacturer publishes about materials, dimensions and capacities, attributed, and nothing beyond it. We do not state or interpret codes, standards or certifications, and we specify to the criteria your own facilities and infection prevention teams provide.
