FX2 Exhaust Snorkel Models
The ORIGINAL model is a robust and reliable all-around articulating arm for general applications and fumes, dust, where there is little to no electrical discharges or attack by aggressive chemicals. The extraction arm is shown fitted with a multi-purpose transparent hood.
The ESD/EX model is designed for use in electronic environments where there is a risk of electrostatic discharges. Following risk assessment, the ESD/EX can also be used for certain applications in explosive environments. The extraction arm is made of conductive materials, eliminating the risk of static electricity and sparks. The hood is made of anodized metal.
The CHEM model has profiles made of double anodized aluminum. The articulating arm is ideal for fume extraction in aggressive environments where corrosion resistance must be assured. The extraction arm shown here is fitted with a painted, corrosion-resistant metal hood.
Exhaust Snorkel Details
Lab exhaust snorkels offer strength and resilience combined with simple handling. The lightweight anodized aluminum has three adjustable joints. They are suitable for the removal of heat or irritant fumes. They need to be tied into the general HVAC for the facility. They are a reliable arm for general facilities and laboratories

Exhaust Snorkel Hoods
Combi Hood
Are designed to exhaust contaminants with low energy. The transparent combi hood is made of PET-G plastic.
It can be attached directly to the lab exhaust snorkels regardless of the size of the arm.
Handles on both sides of the hood make it maneuver easier.
Dome Hood
Transparent dome hood is designed to be used with high dispersion contaminants. The transparent hood is made of PET-G plastic.
It can be attached to the hood regardless of the size of the extration arm.

Metal Hood
The powder-coated white metal hood is made of aluminum and is designed to capture contaminants. It is capable to handle aggressive fumes, high temperatures, and corrosion resistance, and dust splatter.
It can be attached to the exhaust hood of any size articulating arm.
Drop Ceilings Installation
“Does the FX2 exhaust snorkel ceiling mount allow installation into a typical drop ceiling tile?”
Yes, you can install it into a drop ceiling.
You need to add the “43 in additional tube extension” which can be cut down to size to go thru the drop ceiling. You can also add the “ceiling cover plate” that will conceal the hole, but it is not required; it is only for aesthetic purposes.
