What is the difference between a lab workstation and a lab table?
A lab table is the work surface and base: a top on a fixed, adjustable or mobile frame. A lab workstation builds on that with uprights, shelving and services. Our Envision workstations, for example, come pre-wired with GFCI-protected power, data lines and LED task lights, and their posts accept plumbing services. Start with a table if you only need bench space. Choose a workstation when power, data, shelving or plumbing needs to be at the bench.
Which work surface is best for chemical work?
Epoxy resin and phenolic resin are the usual choices for chemical work. Epoxy resists heat and harsh chemicals best. Phenolic is lighter and costs less, and it holds up well to most lab chemicals. What sizes and heights do lab tables come in?

Should I choose casters or leveling glides?
Choose locking casters if the table needs to move between rooms or roll out for cleaning. Fixed vs. Adjustable Height
Fixed-height tables (30" or 36") are best for dedicated workstations. Lower cost, maximum stability. Adjustable-height tables (28"–44") are essential for ADA compliance and shared workstations where standing and seated researchers alternate.
