Cleanroom Systems — Design, Build & Certify

Cleanrooms control airborne particulates, temperature, humidity, and pressure to meet ISO 14644 cleanliness standards. From ISO Class 5 (Class 100) semiconductor environments to ISO Class 8 (Class 100,000) packaging areas, Labs USA designs, builds, and certifies cleanroom systems tailored to your process requirements.

We supply modular cleanroom systems — prefabricated wall panels, ceiling grids, HEPA/ULPA filtration, lighting, and environmental controls — that install faster and cost less than conventional construction. Modular cleanrooms are relocatable, expandable, and qualify for accelerated depreciation as equipment rather than building improvements.

ISO 14644 Classification Reference

ISO Class FED STD 209E Particles ≥0.5µm/m³ Typical Applications

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a cleanroom cost?

Modular cleanroom costs range from $100–$250/SF for ISO 7–8 softwall systems to $250–$600/SF for ISO 5–6 hardwall systems. A 200 SF ISO 7 cleanroom typically runs $40,000–$80,000 including HVAC. See our cost guide for detailed breakdowns.

How long does cleanroom installation take?

Modular cleanrooms install in 2–6 weeks depending on size and complexity — compared to 3–6 months for conventional construction. Softwall systems can be operational in 1–2 weeks. Labs USA manages the entire installation schedule.

Can a cleanroom be moved or expanded?

Yes — that’s the key advantage of modular construction. Panels disassemble and reassemble in new locations. Additional bays and rooms can be added to existing systems. This also qualifies modular cleanrooms as equipment for accelerated depreciation.

Does Labs USA certify cleanrooms?

Labs USA coordinates ISO 14644 certification testing — including particle counting, airflow measurement, pressure differential testing, and temperature/humidity mapping. We provide certification reports required for regulatory compliance. See our guide to cleanroom certification requirements for the tests involved and how often clean rooms must be recertified.
