Our newest water system is the Rapids.  This water system is an analytical, ASTM type I water purification system. Through deionization, the Rapids will produce up to 2 liters per minute of ultrapure water that has a resistivity up to 18.2 meg-ohm and TOCs of 5 ppb or less.

The Rapids is wall-mounted and can be hooked to tap or pretreated source.  There are six cartridge kits available and like anything else, we can aid in helping your customers choose the best kit for their laboratory needs.

Like our other systems, the Rapids is extremely simple to install, use, and maintain with in-house personnel.  The graphical touchscreen features prompt, animations, embedded QR codes for additional videos, and troubleshooting.   Plus we have an extensive video library to help out the customer!

As I mentioned, the Rapids produces type I water, some also call this ultrapure water and its used for critical lab functions. Now, there are different categories of type I water – analytical vs life science.  The Rapids that is currently on the market is for analytical purposes.  Some of the applications that this unit can be used for are:
