Quick-Ship Lab Benches & Tables
In-stock laboratory benches, workstations, and tables ready to ship in days. Adjustable-height, fixed, and modular configurations for research, testing, and teaching environments.
Lab Benches Available for Fast Delivery
Labs USA stocks a range of laboratory benches and tables designed for immediate availability. These aren’t seconds or closeouts — they’re standard production models from top manufacturers, held in inventory for customers who need lab furniture without the typical 8–12 week wait.
Modular Lab Benches
Heavy-duty steel frame benches engineered for stability, vibration resistance, and long-term durability. Our modular system lets you start with a basic bench and add shelving, reagent racks, power strips, task lighting, and utility connections as your lab evolves. Quick-ship models available in 48″, 60″, and 72″ widths.
Adjustable-Height Lab Tables
Ergonomic lab tables that adjust from sitting to standing height — critical for labs where different users share the same workspace, or where tasks require different working positions. In-stock in 48″ and 72″ widths with chemical-resistant work surfaces.
Patriot Tables
Versatile, heavy-duty lab tables suitable for general laboratory work, instrument placement, and classroom use. Available in multiple sizes with options for undershelf storage, back panels, and drawer units.
Technical Workstations
Specialized workstations for electronic assembly, quality control inspection, and instrument analysis. Feature integrated power, ESD protection options, and ergonomic design. In-stock standard configurations ship within 5–10 business days.
Choosing the Right Lab Bench
| Bench Type | Best For | Work Surface Options |
|---|---|---|
| Modular Lab Bench | Research labs, general chemistry, biology | Epoxy resin, phenolic, stainless steel, laminate |
| Adjustable Height | Shared workspaces, microscopy, ergonomic labs | Laminate, phenolic, ESD-safe |
| Patriot Table | Teaching labs, general use, instrument tables | Laminate, phenolic |
| Technical Workstation | Electronics, QC, inspection, instrument analysis | ESD-safe laminate, stainless steel |
Work Surface Materials
- Epoxy resin: The gold standard for chemical resistance. Handles acids, bases, solvents, and moderate heat. Best for chemistry and biology labs.
- Phenolic resin: Excellent chemical resistance at a lower cost than epoxy. Good all-purpose choice for general lab work.
- Stainless steel: Ideal for cleanrooms, bacteriology labs, and any environment requiring frequent decontamination. Resistant to most chemicals except strong halides.
- Laminate: Most affordable option. Suitable for dry work, teaching environments, and low-chemical-exposure applications. Not recommended for wet chemistry.
- ESD-safe: Static-dissipative surfaces for electronics work, sensitive instrumentation, and testing environments where electrostatic discharge is a concern.
Frequently Asked Questions
What weight can lab benches support?
Standard modular lab benches support 250–500 lbs of evenly distributed load depending on the frame type and span. Heavy-duty benches for large instruments can be specified for 800+ lbs. We’ll recommend the right capacity based on your equipment.
Can I add accessories later?
Yes. The modular bench system is designed for expansion. Reagent racks, shelving, power strips, task lighting, and utility turrets can be added at any time without replacing the base bench.
Do you offer island bench configurations?
Yes. Island benches (accessible from both sides) are available in standard and custom widths. Quick-ship island benches are available in 60″ and 72″ lengths. Custom configurations are available with longer lead times.

Common Lab Bench Configurations
Double-sided bench in the center of the lab. Students or researchers work on both sides. Typical in teaching and wet labs. 60″ or 72″ lengths most common.
Single-sided bench against the wall. Utility connections from the wall behind. Efficient use of space in smaller labs.
Extends from the wall like an island but attached on one end. Good compromise between workspace and floor space.
