The ESD/EX Model

The ESD/EX model is designed for use in electronic environments where there is a risk of electrostatic discharges. Following the risk assessment, the ESD/EX can also be used for certain applications in explosive environments. The extraction arm is made of conductive materials, eliminating the risk of static electricity and sparks. The hood is made of anodized metal.

The new generation of Nederman BenchTop arms is available in 2, 3, and 4 in. (50, 75, and 100 mm) versions with corresponding capacity ranges of:
FX50-    2": 30-65 cfm (50-110 m3/h) Full Specs
FX75-     3": 65-140 cfm (110-240m3/h) Full Specs
FX100-  4": 120-265 cfm (200-450 m3/h) Full Specs

It can be attached to the exhaust hood of any size articulating arm.

Are designed to exhaust contaminants with low energy. The combi hood is made of PET-G plastic.

It can be attached directly to the lab exhaust snorkels regardless of the size of the arm.

Dome hood is designed to be used with high-dispersion contaminants. The transparent hood is made of PET-G plastic.

It can be attached to the hood regardless of the size of the extraction arm.

Drop Ceilings Installation

You need to add the “43+ inch additional tube extension” which can be cut down to size to go through the drop ceiling. You can also add the "ceiling cover plate" that will conceal the hole, but it is not required; it is only for aesthetic purposes.
