The Cascade Type II Water Purification System is an economical deionization system. This system can produce up to two liters per minute of ASTM Type II, pure water.  The resistivity level can reach 15 meg-ohm.

Through market research, we know that users want their water systems to be easy to install, use, and maintain.  You’ll notice that all of our water systems fit this desire.  The Cascade is extremely simple to use - with the twist of a valve, the user controls the water output.   The system attaches to the wall, requires no electricity, and can be connected to a tap or pretreat water source.

The system is available in a dual or quad set up.  The cartridges are quick and simple to install or replace.  The color-changing resin will give users a visual when it’s time to replace them to continue to ensure they have consistently pure water.  Our Technical Service team can assist you and your customer in choosing the best cartridge kit to meet their laboratory needs based on feed water, usage, and applications being performed.

Which one fits your lab?

• Trace analysis (IC, ICP, ICP-MS, AA, mass spec): you need Type I water at the instrument. That is the Rapids.
• Buffers, media, glassware rinsing, feed to autoclaves and washers: Type II is enough. The Cascade is the lowest-cost option and needs no power at the wall.
• Bacteria and pyrogen removal with no cartridges to replace: a Fi-Streem still.
• Both grades: a Cascade or Fi-Streem can feed a Rapids. LabStrong makes Rapids cartridge kits for RO/distilled feed (D003310KT and D003311KT) for that setup.
